    You can disc them as they resprout and the last time you disc them put some fertilizer under them and they will be good. This is assuming you have a good stand after they resprout. We usually disc them a couple times and put fertilizer to them in June or early july before a rain.

    You should have no problem killing the unwanted pine in those pics. The broom sedge will carry a hot fire through in a hurry. We burn our longleaf every year and our land looks alot like your pics. Like you mentioned make sure not to burn if the longleaf have candled. Also from our experience...

    A buddy has this pear on his place. It is loaded with small fruit the size of ping pong ball to golf ball size. It's growing along the edge of road and new clear cut. Is it a wild pear or invasive bradford. I did not see any thorns on the tree. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
