The older I get the more I'm incline to do less and less invasive practices. If I can use less of any chemical I feel like it's better. So cocktails that kill "everything" may be adding chemicals to my land that I didn't need to add. Less chemical, more diversity, better burning practices...

I quit trying them many yrs ago. Didn't have any luck with them and have since shifted to as low of impact hunting as I can get. Ie - don't leave ANY scent behind.

Just to expand on what Native brought up... most soils have most nutrients in them. If the pH is wrong then the minerals bind to the soil instead of dissolving into water to be available for uptake. This is a very basic read but it's got some important bullets...

Trailcams go out sometimes. Even expensive ones (I had a cuddilink go out 364 days after buying it). If you aren't to picky I'd suggest a Walmart Tasco cam. I've got a couple at around $29 each. Not the quietest but they've done me well by lasting several yrs. In fact now that I think of it...

That is great news! Even if the guy from Ark does lease it out I'm guessing his hunters will shoot less young bucks than if it were still in public. That could work out great for your place!
