Live from the Stand 2022

I hunted last night and still in the stand this morning. I think we are a week away from some good movement. Had my xbow crosshairs on young bucks both sits at under 40 yds but no older ones showing yet. Young ones doing half hearted chasing.

Does that mean you stayed the night in the stand?!

Warm. Low of 50 last night. Three night this week forecasted with lows of 58 and one 55

PS - on the way out this morning scrapes everywhere that were not there Last Friday. All were very fresh. Pulled a few cards. Hope it’s more than the small bucks I passed. Headed home to check.

Ok. You were already one of my favorites due to the prairie thread. This may have sealed the deal….

Thanks, but I hunted the wrong farm. Checked my other place on the way home and got this. Haven't had anything over 130 there all year except for very early. The doe factory is kicking in.

That’s a nice deer...my doe factories never seem to kick in...too many options I guess for the few bucks around this year.

That big one ran a doe hard and then came back to his scrape. 180 yards. Then went to low foggy food plot and ate wheat. I’m on a mowed path through the grass. Two other bucks (115 and 130). Many does.

Sounds like you're in the right spot!

You can't escape being tied to me. I tell everybody that you are my best friend, so that makes you as bad as me. And you forgot to mention that I'm a deplorable and ultra maga freak. ;)

I like you better every day !:)

In the triple tree stand on back ridge. Quite. SE wind. 50 deg.
Have shot several nice bucks from this place including the Weiner buck I shot that came by while, yes , while I was pissing. I think he died of fright from the sight!!
Already one buck by this morn that needs a year.
No Native condo stand for poor me.
