New arrows for my daughter

Just finished these for my 12-year-old. 24 inches, 398 grains total weight. Really hoping she’ll join me this year! She seems interested but not overly passionate.

She’s shooting them well at 15 yards. That’s going to be max in a deer this year at her draw weight/length.

I know there is a Formula for figuring out the Exact Weight of your Arrows, but can't seem to find it anymore. Care to share how you figure the Weight?

I know it's the Weight of the Shaft, plus the Nock, Vanes, threaded Insert, and Broadhead, but not sure how to figure the Weight oif the Nock-Vanes-Insert.

I have a grain scale and weigh arrows myself. You can also use software like archers advantage. If you use standard components the weights are provided via the software. I design our arrows on archers advantage and the completed arrows are always within a grain or two of what the software predicted.

Yep, that definitely works if weight is all your after. Archery software does that as well but it’s really designed to help identify optimal spine.
