they helped me out with this one some with the fire break because I want to expand this plot. Volunteer reseeded crimson clover, Zulu arrow leaf clover and wheat

i don’t have many on the property but the ones I do have I hate lol. I can’t get them to come to any spot regularly right now to hunt them. Even on spin feeders I put out for them.

Went and bought the 2nd ton of protein for the new year. This protein is a new protein that has chelated vitamins and minerals and diatomaceous earth and cinnabar. My place that I buy my protein from used to make their own and that’s what we used. It had no vitamins or minerals in it. They make protein for several different big protein sellers for around here but they partnered with one of them and use their feed with the others vitamin/mineral paks with the other two ingredients. It ends up being $1.50 per bag more for the new protein. We put out two more feeders Saturday and I put a few bags of the old protein I had fro the first filling with the old and the deer were on it the same day. I will be I. Tennesse this weekend so I wanted to get out and Check the feeders before we left and see how they react to the new protein. So Wednesday I filled them all and was glad I went out early because several were almost empty.

Looks like an exceptional piece of property. We have similar acreage and can't come close to the quality of bucks you are growing. It should only get better for you with time.

Thanks yes it is a lot of enjoyable therapy for me. Working on getting my lime requirements for some plots now. Looking forward to next season because we are finally getting our age structure right. That’s more of a key to growing them bigger for any area is age. Now I am just trying to provide as much quality nutrition as possible to get the most potential out of all the deer.
