Wayne,
Been quite a while since last comms. Just saw this afternoon where you tried to email me on 15 August 2023!
I'm sorry. Work kept me on the road a TON last year - I didn't keep up on that email account. Attempt to respond was kicked back=address no longer valid. I'm still at "huntingfuul@aol.com email" Please shoot me a note. I apologize that it's taken 5+ months to respond.

when WHEN we get rain once every three weeks my Ladino does great. But the last two years we’ve only had 3-5 rains from June-August.
Three years ago I tried watering it with my 50 gallon sprayer mornings and evening but we had more rain about every 3-4 weeks so.
This year my whole plot died. Completely roasted.

I was so happy to see a message and write you back I blew right past the part that said “I can gift you seedlings, if you are interested, let me know now. Can Meet in Springfield.”
I’d love to see some chestnuts on the ground before I go in it 🤪
Is it still early enough to plant them?
Are you familiar with Milton's greenhouse. He has chestnuts growing in there he would have planted in late Winter. I am hopeful those seedlings get planted on Milton's farm or nearby. Please talk to the grandkids and see what is likely to happen to these.

I want to donate 100 Chinese Chestnut trees in Sept / Oct 2024 to be planted in your area by friends and family of Milton. Your thoughts?

Yes sir very familiar. We have 1500 acres in South Montgomery and would love to plant some seedlings in his honor. I will do my best to find out about the seedlings in his greenhouse and keep you updated.
