    9/10 - GA

Had an eventful opening weekend that ended in my best bow kill to date. I was able to slip into one of our best early season stands on Sunday afternoon around 5 and had one heck of an afternoon. Throughout the afternoon I had 20+ deer come through with 7 of those being bucks and 2 of them being...

    Final weekend doe management

My GA club is overrun with does and for the last weekend of the season me and a buddy tried to do our best to lower the numbers. We sat Sat AM and PM and we were able to get 16 between the two of us. We ended up with 25 does killed on our 1500 acres for the year. We fell short of our goal of 40...

I had actually rattled in this buck right before thanksgiving but with no trailcam pics of him, and him being in a...

    Turkey Season 2017

Hate to see it go. As usual I didn't get to go as much as I wanted but tried to make the most out of every situation and enjoy time with friends and family. Started youth season here in GA with rain on Saturday and little to no action. Sunday is cleared out and I was able to put my boss' son on...

    Dove Field 2017

Will update as everything progresses. We planted our dove field Saturday. 10 acres in Clearfield sunflowers, and roughly 3 acres in benne (sesame). Will plant another 3-5 acres in BT Millet in another month or so. Pre-emerge and fertilizer were applied Saturday as well.
