Thanks for waking me up George, and good to hear from you. No tornados, but some strong winds. I've cut up some big trees in the fields and will push them into the fence rows in a few days. I've started doing my NWSG mowing and have also been transplanting some shrubs and doing some other spring jobs.

My deer here don't know when to drop antlers and quit working scrapes.

This is going to be a good year for apples, pears and persimmons.

Cherries, Blackberries and Mulberries good too:

Lawn Mower Food plots planted last fall. In the last one the oats are a little thick, but they will be finished soon.

Persimmons looking good. This is a tree I topworked in 2017. Grown a lot and loaded this year.

You got it going on Native, you must be very proud of your success, and rightfully so ! Lots of work and thought went into your farm I’m sure. I wish I had planted some fruit trees twenty years ago. We have plenty of acorns but except for blackberries, almost no wild fruits. Even wild plums are not nearly as prevalent as they were when I was a kid.

Thanks Drycreek. I get a lot of pleasure out of the work, and the exercise is a good thing for me too.
