Anyone planting switchgrass this year??

I have enough Cave-In-Rock for the acre I'm planting. I have to stop back at Ernst Seed for wildflower seed if you want me to pick you some up.

I posted this over on my thread but I thought it was interesting using plateau for a premergant.I have some CIR that I am frost seeded

It is my understanding that plateau will set back switchgrass. Atrazine or simizime is a better choice.

I was thinking of growing some plugs for the heck of it........looks like we may tear up about an acre for planting this weekend so I will need a full dose!

Ernst Seed is local for me, about 15-20 minutes from my farm. They carry a bunch of NWSG and switch varieties. I paid $7 per pound PLS for Cave-In-Rock. Cas I can pick some up for you and meet you at your place or halfway or whatever.
