Just had a young 8 pointer chase a doe and a fawn right by my stand.

Decided to ML hunt my cousins green field south of my place this afternoon. Hoping for a booner or coyote and would rather get a coyote.

Food in front and food behind me. Good hard rain yesterday and last night with cooler temps today. Hopefully the deer are moving!

A little rain go's a long way and this flint rock forest soil grows stuff better than I ever expected when we first looked at this place.

Just shot the huge 8 I’ve been after. He’s a giant for SC. First shot felt good, second shot made him disappear, so hopefully he’s laying dead in the marsh. I’m shaking so badly. Had to calm myself for 5 minutes before I shot. I could feel my heartbeat in my ears.
