Thats a cool site. I have a similar thing through Farmlogs.com. Soil type, mapping, Every time it rains they email me with the totals.

That's a nice package. I couldn't get the soils or vegetation layers to display. I poked around, but not for long. Maybe that's just for Texas? Anymore there are lots of applications like this one. Does Google Earth have a soils layer? If not, a user can easily (? hahaha) add one.

The NRCS Web Soil Survery isn't as easy, but the level of soils info is, as you might expect, quite deep.
