"The Cabin"

Awesome thread. I may have missed it, what did you finish your interior wood with? I'm getting ready to put up a bunch of tongue and groove pine on a ceiling. I would like to finish it in the basement but want to avoid fumes...

Your place is outstanding!

I used waterbased polyurethane. No fumes

That cabin reminds me of my father's axe... two new heads and three new handles, but still the same old axe. :) You have made a beautiful place!

Thanks everyone for the comments. Still going thru some of the old photos.
This one is my favorite of all. My father and cousin. just looks cool

Another 80s view, This is how I fixed up the place when I got involved with my friends using it for fishing and snowmobiling. Notice the wall with the old siding, thats the actual side of the old cabin looking in from the addition

You are so fortunate to have all of those great old memories and still have the property and the jeep. Those are some great old pictures of the good times!

Looks like it wasn't set up for the ladies in the family with all of the pin-ups on the walls ;)

You are very lucky that someone in the past had the good idea to take pictures. Thanks for posting.

This thread is a wonderful trip down memory lane. I just love the red plaid - back then that was the camo worn.

I doubt you could ever know how many users love this thread. Your jeep restoration is one long problem solving journey.

We need to figure out an award for the cabin and jeep. Thanks for letting the rest of us ride along and enjoy.
